About
Hi there, just a short introduction of myself.
I am a Chinese-Malaysian, born with the name Crystal Chong. Currently, I am a first-year student in Swinburne University of Technology (Sarawak), pursuing a degree in Bachelor of Design (Multimedia Design). I have a passion for anything ‘design’ and a small part of contemporary art.
Photography came to me when I got my first personal digital camera. It was a Kodak Easyshare V610 Dual Lens.

I’ve always loved the fact that I was able to capture ‘the moment’ with a camera. Preserving all memories in this little device, and I was able to show others my perspective of this world.
As I grew to enjoy photography more, my parents bought me my first dSLR when I finished Form 5.
My first dSLR is a Canon EOS40D.

From then on, I was hooked on learning new things in photography. I am also very fortunate to have the chance of getting new lenses. Allowing me to discover new ways of shooting with my Canon dSLR.
Currently, these are my precious tools.
-Canon EF-S 17-85mm.
-Tamron SP AF90mm F/2.8 Di Macro.
-Tamron SP AF70-200mm F/2.8 Di LD (IF) Macro.
-Canon Speedlite 430EX Flash.
I am very interested to get into different types of photography, especially portraits, nature, black and white, and macro.
As a design student, I am required to have a good grab in softwares such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. And at the same time a curious mind.
That’s all for now, if you have any questions about me, feel free to drop me a line in the comments page or contact me.
Thank you for your time!
